Why You’ll Love These Banana Bread Twix Bars:
• Banana Bread Base: The base is made with mashed ripe bananas, giving these bars a soft, moist texture and natural sweetness without any refined sugars.
• Date Caramel Layer: A creamy, rich date caramel, flavored with a touch of miso for depth, adds the perfect sweetness and sticky texture.
• Dark Chocolate Coating: The rich dark chocolate topping ties it all together, adding that classic Twix crunch and flavor we all know and love.
• Easy to Make: With just a few simple ingredients, you can make these bars in no time. No baking expertise required!
Tips for Success:
1. Make sure the banana base is fully cooled before adding the caramel and chocolate layers. This will ensure that the layers set properly and don’t melt into each other.
2. If you want to make these bars a bit more indulgent, you can drizzle extra chocolate on top or sprinkle with sea salt for a sweet-salty flavor.
